In 1998, Manz became the first Canadian contractor in its field to be ISO-9002 Registered. The scope of the International Quality System is applicable to the provision of industrial cleaning, lead paint abatement, component painting and industrial flooring specializing in substrate preparation and protective coatings and engineered paint programs designed for long term asset protection. Employees for Manz have completed and received certificates from SSPC for C-3 Supervision/Competent Person Training for De-Leading of Industrial Structures as well as T-30 Preparation of a Painting Specification.

Manz was the recipient of Chrysler's prestigious Q.E. (Quality Excellence) award for its on going commitment to quality. Its performance evaluation by Chrysler overall for 4 years has earned them the highest rating available as a preferred vendor. The firm has also played a significant role in the expansion and development of Ford Motor Company's new engine plant facility here in Windsor. In 1995, Manz received the Canada Business Excellence Award and won the Windsor & District Chamber of Commerce Company of The Year award for 1994.
